くすのきにご来園くださった時のFacebookにアップしたものです

今年で
16回目の春を迎えたくすのき農園
なんと
なんと
神戸市の黒田慶子副市長さま御一行
ご来園〜〜〜！
現在
くすのき貸農園は
兵庫県内に
４つのガーデンを開園し、約130名の菜園ご利用者様に支えていただいております
神戸市西区の
押部谷町とここ…岩岡町に
それぞれのガーデン
そして
明石市の魚住町にも2つのガーデンがあります
また
ファームホストとして
15年間にわたり
海外からの若者（27カ国）
180名ほどを
それぞれ約10日間くらい
『同じ釜の飯を食う…』
暮らしをさせていただきました
英会話には
四苦八苦しましたが（笑）
様々な国に暮らす若者たちとの関わりは、何ものにも代え難い経験になりました
今年に入って
すで2人が（ドイツ.韓国）
我が家を訪ねてくれましたが
ほんとに嬉しい再会（もう5回以上やってきてくれた方も！）です
一方で
初孫が保育園に通ってる頃
この自然の中にこそ
発見や学びがたくさんあることを伝えたいと強く思い
開園とほぼ同時に
くすのき農園で
『食育体験農場 くすのきキッズ』を、スタートさせました
途中から、
兵庫県こども環境フォーラムさんの活動の一環として、県内外からの親子さんを受け入れるようになり、 15年間があっという間に過ぎていきました
延べ約150家族の方々と
くすのきを舞台に
お野菜やお米を育てたり
栗拾い、蜂蜜絞り、
サトウキビから甘いジュースを作ったり、お餅つき、お味噌作りなど〜
時には
海外からの若者たちを交えながら〜
数え切れない貴重な体験や出逢いは
私達にも大きな学びでした
陰日向で
支えてくださった関西環境建設の大森会長やスタッフの皆様には
言葉が見つからないほど、お世話になりました
その孫も
もう成人式を迎え
今はイギリスの大学に〜
コロナもありました
ほぼ主人と私の2人を中心に守ってきたことも高齢化〜（笑）
多くの方々のご支援に、
これからも答え続けることの難しさを少しずつ感じ、
昨年春
苦渋の決断で
これらの活動の
継続断念を決めました
異常気象
地球温暖化
帰農
自然回帰
SDGsなど
たくさんの言葉がかわされる中で
どんどんと時代は過ぎていきます
わたしたちは
今、
これこら、
何をすべきなのか〜
何が出来るのか〜
SDGs 神戸として
黒田副市長に
課せられたことは
とても重いです
こんな小さな活動ですら
継続していくことが
難しくなってきた
時代です
でも
それを何とか続ける方法を
見つけたいです
少しでも
神戸の最西端で
お手伝い出来ることを
模索したいと思います

This year, Kusunoki Farm will celebrate its 16th spring.
The Deputy Mayor of Kobe and his party visited us!
Currently, Kusunoki Farm has 4 gardens in Hyogo Prefecture.
We have gardens in Oshibedani-cho and Iwaoka-cho in Nishi-ku, Kobe, and two gardens in Uozumi-cho, Akashi.
As a farm host, I have hosted about 180 young people from overseas (27 countries) for about 10 days each, and we lived together.
I had a hard time speaking English (lol), but interacting with young people from various countries was an irreplaceable experience. So far this year, two people (Germany and Korea) have visited us, and it was a truly happy reunion (some have already visited more than five times!).
On the other hand,
when my first grandchild was attending nursery school, I strongly wanted to convey that there is a lot to discover and learn in this natural environment, so I started the "Kusunoki Kids Food Education Experience Farm" at Kusunoki Farm almost at the same time as the farm opened.
Midway through, we began accepting parents and children from both inside and outside the prefecture as part of the activities of the Hyogo Prefecture Children's Environmental Forum. 15 years have passed in the blink of an eye.
With a total of about 150 families,
we grew vegetables and rice,
picked chestnuts, squeezed honey,
made sweet juice from sugarcane, pounded rice cakes, made miso,
and sometimes joined by young people from overseas.
The countless valuable experiences and encounters
we learned a lot from.
We are so grateful to Chairman Omori and the staff of Kansai Environmental Construction, who supported us behind the scenes, that we are at a loss for words.
Our grandchildren have already had their coming-of-age ceremonies.
He's now at a university in the UK.
There was also the coronavirus.
The things that were mostly taken care of by my husband and me are getting older (lol).
I gradually felt the difficulty of continuing to respond to the support of so many people,
and last spring, I made the difficult decision to give up on continuing these activities.
Extreme weather,
global warming, returning to farming, returning to nature, SDGs, etc.
Time passes quickly as many words are exchanged.
What should we do now,
What can we do?
SDGs The task that Deputy Mayor Kuroda has imposed on Kobe is very heavy.
We live in an age where even small activities like this are becoming difficult to continue.
But I want to find a way to continue it.
I would like to explore how I can help in the westernmost part of Kobe, even if only a little. I am deeply grateful to Mr. Imamura of the Iwaoka Liaison Office and many other people who connected us.
Connecting the dots to make a line, connecting the lines to make a surface, I would like to cherish the many encounters.
Deputy Mayor Kuroda, thank you for coming all the way to the western end of Kobe, and I wish the best of luck.
